What is one thing you know is good for you… but you still have a hard time actually doing?

Sleeping enough?
Drinking water?
Moving your body?
Setting boundaries?
Going to the doctor?
Taking a real day off?

No judgment. I’m curious what gets in the way in real life.
For me it's all of the above LOL.

I came on here to ask a favor. Can you go to www.uketherapy.com and scroll to the bottom of the page and play around with the web app I installed? Roll the dice, roll the rhythm, and use the mini drum machine to make a jam on your ukulele. Tell me if it works and tell me what you think. Confusing? Super cool? Stupid? IDC just tell me what your impression is.

Many ukulele clubs have been popping up and the ukulele is starting to experience a new role: wellness. It has been noted that getting together in a group, singing and playing music, and learning a musical instrument are all proven ways to improve health and wellness, improves outcomes of health

Here’s a checklist for you home health people.

Steal it. Save it. Use it as-is. Or drop it into ChatGPT and personalize it for your own client and routine.

You could also adapt the idea for pretty much anything you need to remember during the day.

Make it useful. Make it yours. Be creative.

It's been a while since I posted because I was on a very long assignment. Here's a question I brought up with several people because so much of our current suffering stems from our upbringing.

The opioid crisis has touched every American family in some way—as a parent, spouse, child, friend, or neighbor. It is still going strong and there seems to be no end in sight.

One of the most dangerous myths is that overdose only happens when someone is actively struggling. In reality, many overdoses occur after a period of sobriety or when a person is trying to get clean because their tolerance has changed.

Carry naloxone. A lot of it. Learn how to use it. Encourage others to do the same. It can save a life in minutes. Calling 911 won't help when they are 30 minutes away.

As a society, we are long past the point of sweeping this issue under the rug. Addiction, homelessness, and overdose are realities and pretending otherwise helps no one. Families across the board are living with the consequences every day.

Whether you agree with current policies or not, the responsibility to look out for one another cannot be outsourced. Compassion, awareness, and practical action matter.

A life saved today may be the person who finds recovery tomorrow. In Maricopa County AZ naloxone is available at all public libraries without a prescription.
