At ANCHOR, we believe many students are being misunderstood — not because they are “defiant,” but because their nervous systems are communicating distress, overwhelm, trauma, neurodivergence, or unmet needs.

Too often, survival responses are interpreted as disrespect, noncompliance, or lack of motivation.

I want to help schools shift that lens.
