The Abrazo Medical and Surgical Weight Loss Program at Abrazo Scottsdale Campus has once again earned designation as a comprehensive bariatric center by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP), a quality program of the American College of Surgeons. In addition, the program has received designations including Optum Clinical Sciences Institute as a Bariatric Center of Excellence, Blue Distinction Center+, Aetna Institute of Quality, and Cigna 3 Star Quality designations for bariatric surgery.
