Huge thanks to the Phoenix Chapter of BLIA (Buddhist Light International Association) for such generous donations to Hospice of the Valley, year after year! This week, they dropped off 178 sets of bed linens for hospice beds and 457 beach towels, all brand new! Our crafty volunteers turn towels into ponchos to preserve the comfort and dignity of patients during bathing. Thank you for helping care for those in need.

New Song Center for Grieving Children helps families and kids heal after the death of a loved one. Every year, we host a special Dia de los Mu***os event to help Hispanic families honor their loved ones in a culturally meaningful way. Owners Anthony and Blair Sapeta warmly welcomed Gail and community liaison Jennifer Mitchell for an engaging presentation. Together, we are helping elevate dementia care for families in our community.

One of the many great things about our Tucson team is the camaraderie they share, which was on full display at a recent workshop led by Lucky Cat Social Art. Behind each of these colorful cactus paintings is a skilled team member committed to providing exceptional care to our patients and families in Southern Arizona.

One of our East Valley care teams recently enjoyed a team-building retreat that included a sound-bath healing hour with the amazing Ashley Borys of Soulrise Alchemy. Special thanks to Gilbert Memorial Park Cemetery & Funeral Home for hosting our team. Their peaceful campus was the perfect setting to recharge and connect.
