Happy Sunday!

Arnold Schwarzenegger once said: "The road to success is always under construction. It is a long, winding road with unexpected twists and turns."

Usually, we hate construction. We hate the "Road Work Ahead" signs, the detours, and the feeling of being slowed down when we just want to get to our destination. We treat the "under construction" phases of our lives as something to get through as quickly as possible.

But what if the construction is the success?

In our yoga community, we don’t believe in a "perfect" pose. We believe in an intentional pace. Some days your road is a straight line; other days, an unexpected twist in your health, your mood, or your schedule forces a detour.

Remember:

Detours aren't failures: They are just different routes to the same soul.

Maintenance is mandatory: You can't keep a road open if you never stop to repair the foundation.

The "work" is the goal: Being "under construction" means you are still building, still growing, and still moving.

When we practice yoga together, we aren't trying to reach a finish line. We are simply working on the road. We are strengthening the bridge between our breath and our bodies so that when the "unexpected twists" come, we don't break—we just pivot.

This week, embrace your "under construction" sign. Give yourself permission to move at an intentional pace. There is no rush to get to the end of a road that is meant to be enjoyed.

Come walk the path with us this week. Every turn is welcome here.

With love and persistence,

Kary Sinkule Founder, Yoga’s Arc

Meet the Behind the Scenes Team!

Meet Maggie Steill, our incredible Operations Manager! Maggie works tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure smooth operations for all our partnerships and beyond, while also serving as a Lead Instructor who mentors our teachers with wisdom, care, and a deep dedication to professional growth. We are so incredibly grateful for her immense talent, leadership, and unwavering support every single day!

Here’s a little bit about Maggie…

Maggie is a lifelong learner with a deep passion for yoga and personal growth. She first discovered the practice while working as a hairstylist in San Diego, using it as a vital way to unwind after long days on her feet. After months of home practice, she was invited to complete a Body Flow training—a blend of yoga, Pilates, and tai chi—at a local gym. She fell in love with this movement style and continues to teach group fitness 22 years later.

When Maggie returned home to Indiana, she felt increasingly drawn to the yoga aspect of her teaching. To become a more grounded and knowledgeable instructor, she enrolled in the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) program at Cityoga in Indianapolis. Upon graduation, she joined the team at Community Yoga in West Lafayette, where she grew through dedicated mentorship. Over the years, she has taught a diverse range of styles, including Yin, Vinyasa, Hatha, Slow Flow, and Restorative.

Maggie completed her first 300-hour YTT in 2021 and recently graduated from the program a second time with Yoga’s Arc, further expanding her wisdom. Her journey through motherhood has also deeply shaped her path; after moving to Phoenix in 2012, she began teaching prenatal and yin classes, finding joy in a slower pace. She credits yoga with helping her stay patient and present through the early years of parenting. Today, Maggie is passionate about helping others discover their own strength and peace, wherever they are on their journey.

Namaste Friend!

Did you know that the quiet time you spend on your yoga mat is not a religion? It is a practice. It is a meditation.

We have to be so careful about what we choose to meditate on, because what we focus on is eventually what we become. If we meditate on negativity, social media, the news, or even religious rules that feel heavy and judgmental, we lose our way. God is the one who created all, and we are all one. Who are we to judge?

The peace we are looking for has to be found within us through a connection to the quiet, to nature, to our breath, and to our Creator. In Yoga, we call the breath Pranayama. It is our life force. God gave us that breath, and we quite literally cannot live on this Earth without it.

So, I’m asking you to take the time to find your peace. Don’t be afraid to look for it within yourself.

Start a morning devotional, even if it’s just for five minutes. Maybe it’s sipping your coffee or tea and doing absolutely nothing else until the cup is empty—letting that be your meditation.

Maybe it’s a positive podcast on the way to work, some devotional music, a walk with your dog, or just sitting in the backyard.

Blessings,

Kary Sinkule Founder, Yoga’s Arc

Let us help you find your inner peace. It’s already there, waiting for you to breathe it in!

Strike Your Inner Dancer Pose!

Dancer Pose (Natarajasana) is so much more than a beautiful shape—it is a powerful practice of balance, strength, and grace. By opening the heart and grounding through the legs, this pose perfectly challenges the body while calming the mind.

We love Dancer Pose because it beautifully challenges both the body and the mind in a single shape. It physically fires up and strengthens your legs, ankles, and core, while simultaneously opening the chest and shoulders to create space. Beyond the physical benefits, it sharpens concentration and builds the mental clarity needed to find true focus and balance.

Honor your body by practicing with patience and compassion—never hesitate to use a wall or props for support. Celebrate exactly where you are today, knowing that every single breath is a beautiful step forward on your unique journey.

Ready to take your practice to the next level?

If you are ready to deepen your personal practice, build unwavering confidence, and learn to inspire others, we are here to support you every step of the way.
