Last Wednesday, Dr. Dan was asked to work the Summer of ‘99 Tour, which included the bands Creed & 3 Doors Down. It was the 2️⃣5️⃣th Anniversary of each band’s HUGE album from 1999, including: Creed’s ▶️ Human Clay & 3 Doors Down ▶️ The Better Life. The current North American Tour is about halfway done, and every show is a sell-out!

By the end of the night, Dr. Dan had adjusted 10 people, including: The drum tech, guitar tech, three sound engineers, lighting engineer, band’s security guard, production coordinator, and two LiveNation employees, including the facilities manager & concert promoter. Dr. Dan brought an electric guitar with him and Creed signed it! 😎👍

Dr. Dan was called down to Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre to work on the band called Thirty Seconds to Mars. The drummer, Shannon Leto, requires that a Chiropractor be present at every stop on the Seasons Tour, just in case he needs to be seen before a show. Dr. Dan was there at the venue Sunday night, standing-by, when he was suddenly escorted to Shannon’s dressing room. In a rush, the table was set up, and the Activator Method was used to adjust the drummer. When he got up off the table, he told Dr. Dan… “Thanks, I feel better!”. That’s another satisfied patient, which is good, because the show must always go on! 🤘😎 🌵 🎸

Dr. Dan was called down to Talking Stick Resort Amphitheater on Tuesday, to be the chiropractor for the Queens of R&B Tour. He had the opportunity to adjust the tour’s production manager, two band managers, some crew, and the artist known as MYA. He also met another promoter with LiveNation, which may lead to other concert events in the future. All in all, it was a good experience and a very productive day 👑 🌵 🎸

Last week, Dr. Dan was called upon to treat the Road Manager for the band, The Eagles. The patient had “pulled her lower back” while working backstage on a previous show. She came into the office for evaluation and treatment. Turns out, both her hip and lumbar were out of alignment. After receiving an adjustment, she noticed a difference and by the next day, was definitely feeling better. The Eagles performed two nights last week in downtown Phoenix, on The Long Goodbye - Final Tour. The current band lineup included: From left, Joe Walsh, Vince Gill, Deacon Fry (son of late Eagles co-founder Glenn Fry), Don Henley, and Timothy B. Schmit.

Dr. Dan has been doing Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique for 30 years now. Last weekend, in order to maintain his Advanced Proficiency rating with Activator, he went back to the basics! This meant completing 12 hours of online training in the Basic Scan protocol. The course included: The history of the Activator Method, leg-length testing, the knees, feet, shoulders, and spine. It was a useful review, and he scored 100% on the final exam 🤓👍

Dr. Dan is required to complete 12 hours of continuing education in Activator every year to keep his Advanced Proficiency rating. Ever since the pandemic, in-person seminars no longer take place. For this reason, Dr. Dan completed his 12 hours by taking an Advanced Tests class online @ the Activator Institute VT. It was an excellent review of chiropractic tests for the lower back, rib cage, and neck areas. The goal of Activator chiropractic is to find the underlying cause of a patient’s complaint and correct it. These yearly review courses help him do just that! Thanks Activator Methods.

Dr. Dan was called upon to treat one of the crew members on the Olivia Rodrigo Sour Tour, which stops in Phoenix tonight! The patient was suffering from lingering low back pain brought on by the stress of touring. It was her first experience with chiropractic, and she was fearful of being manually adjusted. After an explanation of the technique that Dr. Dan uses, the Activator Method, she was immediately put at ease. The treatment went very well, and she was amazed how much better her low back felt after an adjustment 😌

On March 30th, Gov. Doug Ducey announced Executive Order 2020-18, "Stay home, Stay Healthy, Stay Connected." This order confirms, "All persons may leave their place of residence only for Essential Activities" including, "things such as seeking medical, behavioral health or emergency services."

Chiropractic is an Essential Service as stated by the Arizona Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Therefore, we will remain open and continue to follow the latest guidance from the CDC and local authorities.

Regular chiropractic treatments are essential for maintaining your health and well-being—especially, during trying and stressful times. Your physical wellness and safety is of the highest priority to us; and we are aware each time you schedule an appointment, you are placing your trust in us. Which is why we are committed to providing you with a safe and comfortable environment.

We are taking the following precautions to ensure your protection:
Adjustment table is properly cleaned and sanitized between every patient
Touchable surfaces (door handles, desks, pens, etc.) are frequently cleaned daily
Before seeing each patient, Dr. Dan washes his hands according to the recommendations set by the CDC

In order to maintain a clean environment, we ask if you are feeling sick or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms to please reschedule your appointment at least two weeks out. By doing so, you are protecting other patients, our practice, and our family. (NOTE: For those experiencing symptoms, we will disregard the 24-hour cancellation policy, along with the $35 missed appointment fee.)
