Finished my last day of fellowship the same way I started it one year ago, curing skin cancer with the one and only Dr. Patrick Mulvaney!

Itโ€™s hard to believe my medical training has finally come to an end. Crazy mix of emotions ๐Ÿฅน, but Iโ€™m leaving with so many great memories and looking forward to my next chapter as a Mohs surgeon and cosmetic dermatologist!

UMass is a place Iโ€™ll always call home thanks to the most amazing people who work there. Throughout my time as a med student, resident, and fellow (thatโ€™s 9๏ธโƒฃ years for those keeping track at home), they have shown me endless love, support, and mentorship that I will never forget. This place made me the physician I am today. ๐Ÿ’™

I am so lucky to be able to do what I love every day. After fellowship, Iโ€™ll be joining my mentors Dr. Nat Jellinek and Dr. Julia Baltz along with the rest of the team as a Mohs surgeon and cosmetic dermatologist. Iโ€™ll be seeing patients in MA and RI starting in August!

There are so many people to thank for helping me get to this point, including my all-star program director and friend Dr. Karen Wiss, all of the faculty and residents, and of course my incredibly supportive husband and family (to name just a few!). It seriously takes a village.

I received excellent training in every aspect of dermatology, and I am excited to start seeing patients on my own! Here are a few highlights from my time as a derm resident:
