Cupping uses suction to bring blood and fluid toward the surface of the skin. The suction can cause tiny capillaries to release a small amount of blood beneath the skin—similar to a bruise. This is called petechiae when it appears as tiny pinpoint spots.
The darker the mark means that area had a stronger visible response to the suction.
CUPPING AFTERCARE:
💧 Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.
🚿 Avoid very hot or very cold showers immediately afterward. Keep it lukewarm.
🔥 Skip saunas, steam rooms, and excessive heat right after your session.
⭕️ Marks can remain for 72 hours or longer—sometimes a week or more.
As long as those circles are visible, continue giving your body plenty of hydration.
Cupping creates a powerful circulatory response—and sometimes your skin leaves the receipts. ⭕️🔥
