🤰 Let’s talk baby bumps!

When will I start showing? Is my bump too small? Too big? Why does it look different from someone else’s at the same stage of pregnancy?

One of the most visible parts of pregnancy is also one that can bring plenty of questions. Your baby bump changes throughout each trimester—and there’s a wide range of what’s considered normal.

✨ First trimester: You may notice more bloating than bump as your body begins adjusting to pregnancy.

💕 Second trimester: For many moms-to-be, this is when the bump becomes more noticeable as baby continues to grow.

👶 Third trimester: Your bump continues to grow and may even change shape as baby moves, grows and gets into position for birth.

And if this isn’t your first pregnancy, you may notice that you start showing earlier or that your bump looks and feels a little different than it did before.

The important thing to remember: there’s no “right” way for a baby bump to look. Every body, baby and pregnancy is different.

Moms, we’d love to hear from you! When did you start showing? And if you’ve been pregnant more than once, did your bump look different the second time around? 💗

Understanding the signs of postpartum depression and anxiety can help you recognize when it may be time to reach out for support.

You don’t have to navigate these changes alone. Your OB/GYN can be an important resource in helping you understand what you’re experiencing and connecting you with the right support.

Your well-being deserves a place on your to-do list, too. 💙
