As conversations surrounding the Lindsay Clancy trial continue across the country, so does an important conversation about perinatal and postpartum mental health.

Behind the headlines is a reminder that mental health conditions during pregnancy and after childbirth are real, serious, and deserving of compassionate, timely care.

No parent should feel ashamed or afraid to say, “I need help.” And no family should have to navigate these challenges alone.

Knowing the signs, checking in on new parents, and connecting someone to support can make a difference. If you or someone you love is struggling during pregnancy or postpartum, help is available.
