NAMI Valley of the Sun NAMI Valley of the Sun provides free education, support, & advocacy in Maricopa County and beyond.

NAMI Valley of the Sun is the Maricopa County affiliate of NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization. NAMI is dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI Valley of the Sun provides education programs at no cost throughout Maricopa County. We provide family programs, peer programs, programs for teachers and school administrators, programs for veterans and their families, support groups, and many more!

Empowering our youth starts with understanding their mental health 💙🤍💚

NAMI Valley of the Sun was honored to be part of the 19th Annual Hope Conference, hosted by the Arizona Su***de Prevention Coalition.

Our Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator presented on “Importance of Understanding Mental Health and Youth and What To Do About It,” highlighting youth mental health statistics, the impact of adverse childhood experiences, and the importance of starting meaningful conversations with young people.

Together, we can continue breaking barriers, raising awareness, and creating a future where every young person feels heard, understood, and supported. 💚
