THE ONE THING you need to learn to fix your hip pain.

It’s NOT stretching.
It’s NOT strengthening.
It’s NOT mobility.

🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔

You HAVE to learn how to properly load your hip.

WTF does that mean?!

It means you have to learn how to put your hip into a position where your glutes just naturally fire, not a forced contraction.

An example of a forced contraction is squeezing your b***y cheeks together as hard as you can. That ain’t it.

This is a perfect example of loading the hip, getting back into that hip, so it will be able to load without over thinking it.

THIS is what you’ll learn FIRST ☝️ when you work with me to get rid of that hip pain.

Then comes the mobility and the strength.

If you can’t cross your legs to tie your shoes without hip pain……

We need to talk.

You’ve progressively noticed it getting harder and harder to cross your legs to get your shoes on because your hip is so stiff and painful.

Then you stand up and it takes a few steps to loosen up your hips before you can walk normally.

No, this isn’t a normal part of “aging”

This is a sign of a few different things going on in that hip.

You have chronic hip pain. You get a flare up. You ice it multiple times a day and rest for two weeks.

Then you start golfing/tennis/squats again and BOOM 💥

Comes right back. Ugh.

Do you have Hip bursitis? Probably not….

Is it glut tendinopathy? Maybe. Or is it generalized muscle imbalance? 🤷‍♀️

Either way, it’s most likely not hip bursitis.

That diagnosis gets wayyyyyyyy over diagnosed from docs because it’s easy to slap a label on something when a patient walks in with pain in the outside of their hip.

It’s probably caused by generalized weakness around the hip musculature, most likely the glut med, glut max and hamstrings, along with overactivity of the TFL muscle due to lack of gluteus medius control., along with lack of hip joint mobility into rotation!
