Regular smudging with sage and palo santo helps to create a clean and protected treatment environment for myself and my patients. The gentle and floral scents are pleasing to the mind and spirit while focusing my intention and mindfulness create a sacred experience. I often end my work day practicing gratitude for the people I serve and for my and their divine protection.

Salt is life! I love to use this salt in my cooking. You can feel it ground and connect your cells. This is so key and most obvious during periods of fasts. This tool has been vital to my nervous system regulation and improved metabolism. Beautiful tools in the kitchen make it all more fun to cook!

Homeopathy is a life-changing tool. I have witnessed it effectively lift depression, normalize menstrual cycles, and eliminate headaches. This safe, affordable option works in a gentle, yet deep way. Consider seeking homeopathic medicine for your health.

This pragmatic randomised controlled trial compared homeopathic and conventional primary paediatric care for acute illnesses in children from birth to 24 months, with conventional medicine used as a safety back-up in the homeopathic group when medically indicated.

Among 108 infants in India, those receiving homeopathic care experienced significantly fewer sick days, fewer illness episodes—particularly respiratory infections—required fewer antibiotics, and incurred lower treatment costs than those in conventional care. Children in the homeopathic group were also taller, though not heavier, over the study period.

Overall, the findings suggest that homeopathy, integrated with conventional medicine for safety, may be a safe, effective, and cost-efficient primary care approach in the first two years of life.

Many people who reach out about weight loss tell me the same thing:
“I’m doing everything right, and it’s still not working.”
That’s often a sign that something deeper is asking for attention.
Weight changes are rarely just about calories or discipline. Hormones, emotions, blood sugar regulation, stress physiology, sleep, nervous system patterns, and metabolic health all influence how the body responds over time.
Integrative naturopathic care focuses on understanding why weight loss may feel difficult, not just pushing harder. Lab testing, thoughtful history-taking, and whole-person support help guide care that is individualized and sustainable.
For some patients, this may include nutrition and lifestyle guidance, homeopathy and natural therapies, nervous system support, and when appropriate, light medication support as part of an integrative plan.

Compassionate care is available in both Arizona and Washington.
Virtual and in-person appointments are available.

We celebrated 5-years with Ruby yesterday. I had no idea how much I needed to learn from being the guardian/co-parent of a reactive dog. She has taught me so much patience, compassion, and understanding.
She reminds me to listen to my intuition while expanding my comfort zone. She makes life brighter.

She makes me laugh, gets me out walking and adventuring, and most importantly, makes me feel unconditionally loved. Dogs are healing ❤️‍🩹
Thank you, Ruby 💞 and Maggie. I am so lucky.

The quiet of this season has shown me the importance of slowing down and refueling. Make sure to prioritize your own cup and let it overflow.

Heartburn, also known as GERD, cause a chronic cough, nausea, belching, and chest pain. Often, it shows up after a heavy or spicy meal and when lying down. The cause is often misunderstood and the treatment approach can be individualized.

Over time, the acidic irritation can lead to cellular changes that are precancerous, known as Barrett’s esophagitis. Treating the root cause can eliminate the chronic dependence on omeprazole, known as Prilosec, and prevent worsening damage.

Common root cause support includes: Digestive enzymes or herbal bitters (Gentian) with meals to stimulate digestion and marshmallow root or slippery elm for soothing the esophagus and symptom management.

If you need a partner in your care, reach out to the office and I’ll work with you to find the best approach to you.
