**Phoenix Police Virtual Block Watch**

If you have a security camera at your home or business, you can register it with the Phoenix Police Department’s **Virtual Block Watch** program.

Registration is free, takes about 10 minutes, and your information is kept confidential. If a crime occurs near your camera, police may contact you to ask whether you have video that could assist with the investigation.

41 & 42 Area Community Meeting

The South Mountain Precinct CAO Team will be hosting our monthly meeting to go over upcoming events and information related to the South Mountain Precinct. A guest speaker from the Violent Crime Bureau/Robbery will be in attendance.

The Phoenix Block Watch Advisory Board has invited Sgt. Infanger to their next meeting. Sgt. Infanger will be educating attendees on the Unmanned Aircraft Systems (aka "Drones") that Phoenix uses.

If you'd like to learn more, you are welcome to join the in-person meeting on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 6:30pm - 8:30pm.

This meeting will be held at the Deer Valley Community Center located at 2001 W Wahalla.

200 free swim lessons are available for District 8 residents to help families stay safe and confident in the water. You can register for lessons through the Parks and Recreation Aquatics Programs website.
