Celebrate Recovery at Mountain Park Church

Celebrate Recovery at Mountain Park Church A CHRIST-CENTERED, 12-STEP RECOVERY PROGRAM FOR ALL OF LIFE'S HURTS, HABITS, AND HANG-UPS Join us Tuesday evenings, at 6pm, at Mountain Park Church.

Living in a broken world we all deal with life’s hurts, hang-ups, and habits. No one has the ability, nor should they attempt to, face their hurts on their own. Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a beautiful community of people that courageously enter this safe space to get honest about our pain and come to accept that some of the habits we have developed to escape the pain have caused destruction in our

life and for those closest to us. Through the process, it guides us toward new healthy truths and life-giving habits as we repair our broken relationships.

Sometimes freedom starts with simply saying it out loud. Join us Tuesday, 9/1, for Lesson 12: Confess.

After taking an honest look at our lives through our Spiritual Inventory, the next step asks us to bring what we’ve uncovered into the light. Confession can feel intimidating, but it isn’t about shame or judgment. It’s about releasing the weight we’ve been carrying and opening the door to healing.

At Celebrate Recovery, we learn that we don’t have to hide our hurts, habits, or hang-ups—and we don’t have to face them alone.

🍽️ Dinner: 5:45 PM
🙌 Large Group: 6:30 PM

Come as you are and discover what can happen when we trade shame and isolation for honesty, grace, and freedom.

Sometimes what looks like an escape is really just a way to avoid what’s hurting. ✝️

Broken relationships, disappointment, and pain can leave us searching for anything that offers a sense of release. But eventually, we have to realize that escaping the pain isn’t the same as healing from it.

This Tuesday, join us to hear Greg's testimony about facing brokenness, taking an honest look at the past, and discovering what can happen when we stop running and start doing the work of recovery.

Through the Celebrate Recovery 12 Steps, community, and a relationship with Jesus, Greg began to find healing, restoration, and a different kind of freedom...one rooted in hope.

🍽️ Dinner starts at 5:45 PM
✝️ Large Group starts at 6:30 PM

Whatever your hurt, hang-up, or habit, there is hope.

What happens when we’re willing to look a little deeper?

Join us Tuesday, August 18, for Lesson 11: Spiritual Inventory (Part 2).

Two weeks ago, we began the important work of looking honestly at what’s going on beneath the surface. This week, we’ll continue that journey—examining the areas of our lives that can hold us back from the healing and freedom God wants for us.

Spiritual inventory isn’t about beating ourselves up over the past. It’s about bringing things into the light, taking responsibility for our part, and allowing God to begin transforming what we uncover.

Whether you joined us for part 1 or this will be your first night, you are welcome here.

🍽️ Dinner: 5:45 PM

Come as you are and take the next step with us. Healing happens one step at a time. 💙

Sometimes we walk through the doors to help someone else…and discover God brought us there for us, too.

When Michael first came to Celebrate Recovery, he thought maybe what he learned could help people like his dad. But somewhere along the way, he discovered something unexpected: he needed the program just as much.

This Tuesday, join us for a powerful testimony about confronting struggles, stepping out of denial, and finding healing through honesty, surrender, and accountability.

It’s a story of realizing recovery isn’t just for “other people.” We all have hurts, hang-ups, and habits—and when we’re willing to do the work and let Jesus into those places, real transformation can happen.

Maybe you’re coming for someone else. Maybe you’ll discover something here for you, too.

What an incredible weekend! ✝️

Several members of the Mountain Park Church Celebrate Recovery team had the opportunity to attend the annual Celebrate Recovery Leader Summit in Murrieta, California, a weekend that brings CR leaders together from across the country to learn, connect, celebrate, and come home reenergized for the work God has called us to do.

And while we learned a lot, some of the most meaningful moments weren’t about what we could bring back to others, they were about what we needed to leave behind ourselves.

We were challenged to look into our own hearts and identify the things we’re still carrying: old wounds, lingering resentments, unwanted behaviors, and burdens we were never meant to hold onto forever.

The message we’re bringing home is simple but powerful:

Jesus heals. ❤️ And we get to be part of His team, helping others find that same healing, hope, and freedom.

We came home encouraged, challenged, connected, and reminded all over again why this ministry matters so much. What a great weekend, and what a gift to experience it together! Joseph Trasser Michael Louchery
