Who knew that a toy cow 🐄 could hold such a story? AND! that you can actually learn to "read" 📖 the energetic imprints of that story through the hands? 🙌👏

Considering that the hands and feet contain a higher concentration of sensory nerve endings than anywhere else in the body - maybe it's not surprising… but, even if it is, sometimes you just have to practice with it to see just how accessible this energetic information can really be!

At our last PSYCHIC SENSES class on TOUCH / CLAIRTANGENCY people did just that & picked up so many impressions from coin placements, objects, and each other that turned out to be stunningly accurate ✅!

Now about that cow…they picked up…
- A woman bought the toy at a pet shop for her kid but ended up liking it more herself.
- It was the main toy that accompanied the family on many planes to immigrate to a new country
- It was gifted to a child who has a very caffeinated and beardy father…

Holding objects and tuning into them psychically— a practice known as — can offer a low-stakes entryway into tuning into the unseen. Because objects hold energetic resonance of place, their making, energy, and other emotional and situational conditions, it may also be the reason why some sensitives become overwhelmed when in a crowded antique or thrift shop or pick up waves of messages when entering charged historical places.

I'm honored to be presenting the hands-on portion of this workshop on Revolutionary Medicine this coming Sunday 3/28 - we'll be making oxymels honey-vinegar syrups from bio-regionally available plants like pine and more! This lecture is not to be missed!

We are rooting for our Senior Director of Interpretation and Engagement, Sara Ray, as she presents during a Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia workshop highlighting medicinal plants in Benjamin Rush's time.🪴

Inside the apothecary... take a sneak peek inside Sunday's spring-charged infused oil & salve workshop Hummingbird Healing Collective ! Attendees made skin-soothing body oils with lavender, rose, and oat to protect and nourish the skin & and pain-relief salves with beeswax Sichuan peppers, St. John's wort, kava kava root and more! Stay tuned for more plant-powered workshops to support seasonal health and resilience.

It's been my passion over the last 16 years+ to follow the pull of the plants into fields, forests, recovery centers, schools, public gardens, and other spaces of gathering to teach others about herbs' healing powers. Joining together in the garden, in the apothecary, and in ceremony helps unlock a brave willingness to look to the earth & each other in a mutual dance of tending to transform what ails us into what helps us find relief & transformation.

This Sunday March 22nd from 4-6pm - we'll gather again for a new herbal series at Hummingbird Healing Collective called Herbal Alchemy on making Infused Herbal Oils & Salves.
