I come from a lineage of witches
I didnât meet this power until I was face to face with it on my hands and knees in a tezmacal middle of the jungle in Mexico
Where I had generations of grief running through me, and although I was purging the energy - it didnât feel like mine
I didnât resonate with this grief but it also didnât feel foreign
My body quickly became a vessel & I became a witness
Often times we take on a job to release or let go of a pain that was never ours to begin with
Once you form an identity around your pain you sign a life sentence to holding it
We are flooded with âhealingâ now - regulation tools, ebooks, workshops, supplements
All of which has become another escape of whats actually begging to come alive within you
Thatâs the scary part, we want our anger, sadness, anxiety to âreleaseâ so we donât have to see it again- but once we find this is only a warning something beneath the surface is brewing & looking for expression we run and hide
And understandably, generations of pain can feel moving, big, loud, confusing, triggering
But this is what women are feeling in their sacral & womb, their lower back & jaw, their pelvic floor & hips
But we blame weight gain, periods, hormones, getting old
