Continuing education makes us better therapists—and ultimately helps us better serve our clients.
This September, Theresa will be teaching Cross Fiber Techniques at The Garden Wellness Studio. This hands-on course is designed to help massage therapists develop greater palpation sensitivity, address tissue densification and chronic tension patterns, and bring more precision into their treatment work.
I’m excited to have this type of hands-on education happening right here in Phoenixville!
I'm so excited to be teaching Cross Fiber Techniques at The Garden Wellness Studio this fall! There's something special about bringing this course into Amie Kraft's space, a studio whose name alone speaks to growth, rootedness, and care. — I can't wait to share two days of hands-on learning with you there.
As a Certified Pfrimmer Deep Muscle Therapist, I've spent years working with the full-body cross-fiber massage model, and it keeps teaching me new things. It's detailed work — it asks you to slow down and truly listen to what's under your fingers. Working across the fiber sharpens palpation in a way linear strokes can't, and that heightened sensitivity carries over into everything else you practice.
This technique softens tissue densification—helping restore glide, ease chronic tension patterns, and improve precision in your treatment planning. The research supports what practitioners feel in the tissue: friction and sustained pressure help shift fascia from a dense, gel-like state back to a fluid, gliding state.
Come build your hands-on skills and palpation sensitivity with me this September at The Garden Wellness Studio!
Peacefully,
Theresa
