✨ Exciting News at Dodd Therapy Center ✨

We are thrilled to officially offer Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy services to Picayune and surrounding communities! Pelvic health concerns are incredibly common, but are not something you simply have to “live with.” Our team is passionate about helping patients restore confidence, reduce pain, and improve quality of life through compassionate, individualized care.

Pelvic floor therapy can help support patients experiencing common conditions like:
• Bladder urgency or leakage
• Pelvic pain or pressure
• Pregnancy & postpartum recovery
• Diastasis recti
• Painful in*******se
• Constipation
• Post cancer care & more

Treatment plans will include hands-on techniques, specifically tailored neuromuscular re-education and exercises, and innovative technologies like bio-feedback, electrical stimulation, and more. There is no “one-size-fits-all” treatment, you deserve care as individualized as you are.

Our pelvic health team includes pelvic floor certified Doctors of Physical Therapy Kalyn Dragon and Avery Guelker, alongside our dedicated PTA Halle Landrum. Together, we are committed to creating a supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their healing journey.

5 YEARS.

Five years ago, we opened our doors with a vision, a whole lot of faith, and a prayer that God would use us to serve others. Looking back now, His faithfulness has been evident every step of the way.

We are beyond grateful—for our patients trusting us with their care, the families who support us, and the community that continues to give us the opportunity to do what we love every single day.

Over the years, we’ve worked hard to bring services to our home town above traditional physical therapy services such as:

We completed our LEVEL II: ADVANCED IASTM certification today! Taking our hands on care to the next level with advanced skill development.

IASTM stands for: Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. It is very effective to help you move and function pain-free!

Super proud of our very own, Cassie! We may be biased, but she is awesome! Not only does she work very hard for her patient’s health, wellness, and fitness, but personally she is a great example of hard work and determination!

Cassie is Picayune's first Women's 500lb Club Member👏 - meaning she lifted a combined 500lbs on squat, deadlift, and bench press exercises)

We would like to celebrate Rebecca Ladner and her two years with Dodd Therapy Center!

Rebecca is very passionate in providing her patients with the best care possible, including a very hands on and personalized approach. While compassionate, she is very creative and thorough in her treatments, ensuring that every concern or impairment is addressed.

Rebecca is such a big part of our work family! It has been an honor to watch her develop into such a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant, but also to watch her become a mom. She is the best mom to her little man. When she was on maternity leave, the clinic just wasn’t quite right without her!

Rebecca has several advanced certifications. Rebecca is LSVT BIG certified and has a strong clinical background in Parkinson’s Disease and Neurological disorders. She is also certified in providing Blood Flow Restriction therapy for her orthopedic and post-operative patients.

We just can’t express how much we appreciate her!

Aquatic Therapy is now available right here in Picayune, Ms at Dodd Therapy Center!

We excitedly introduce you to our Hydroworx!

What does Aquatic Therapy look like at Dodd Therapy Center?

Our state of the art unit allows for a private, one on one Aquatic Therapy environment for a patient accompanied by their therapist. Once you enter the foyer, it is only the matter of a minute before your session is underway.

Opposed to a pool, Hydroworx allows us to quickly alter the depth of the water to perform seated and standing exercises in a warm therapeutic environment. This allows us to decrease body weight due to the buoyancy of water. While this alleviates stress on the spine or joints, it provides great resistance for strengthening.

Our Hydroworx houses an underwater treadmill that operates at speeds as low as 0.1 mph to as fast as 6.0 mph! Running on the underwater treadmill is great for athletes and runners recovering from injury or surgery. No matter your disability or mobility level, it is so easy to enter and exit the Hydroworx. Hydroworx also has a resistance jet to challenge balance and to create more resistance while walking or running.

Last week we said “see you later” to one of our physical therapy technicians, Dalton Lee, who is attending Mississippi College to play football this fall!

Dalton has worked very hard alongside us over the past six months. The clinic has been full of joy and a lot of laughter because of him. We have also watched him work very hard in the weight room while overcoming the adversity of rehabilitating his own shoulder. We are so proud of him and wish him the very best!
