Piedmont Health Care Center and Dugger Mountain Specialty Care Assisted Living Facility are pleased to announce the appointment of Penny Cochran as our new Administrator, effective June 1, 2026.

Penny brings nearly three decades of long-term care experience and a lifelong commitment to serving seniors and their families. Throughout her career, she has served in numerous leadership and clinical roles, earning the respect of residents, families, and colleagues alike.

Many of you already know Penny from her previous service as Assistant Administrator at Piedmont Health Care Center. During her time here, she became a valued member of our team and developed strong relationships with our residents, families, and employees.

Penny is known for her servant leadership, compassion, energy, and unwavering dedication to resident-centered care. She genuinely loves this profession, and more importantly, she loves the people who make our facilities special—our residents, families, and employees.

Please join us in welcoming Penny back to the Piedmont Health Care Center and the Dugger Mountain Memory Care and Senior Independent Living Apartments family.
