We had such an amazing time coming together for this year’s Cheeseburger Festival Parade! ❤️

From planning and decorating to all the little details that brought our float to life, so much time, creativity, teamwork, and hard work went into making it happen, and we couldn’t be more thankful for everyone who helped! 🛠️🎨✨

More than anything, nights like this remind us how special it is to step outside of our everyday roles, have some fun together, build stronger relationships as a team, and be part of the community we’re so proud to serve. 💙

FREE Senior Grocery Pantry – Thursday, August 6

Seasons Change Home Health Care & Hospice is proud to partner with the local Elkton Lions Clubs’ Hunger Outreach Program and the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan to host a free walk-through grocery pantry for qualifying seniors.

Date: Thursday, August 6
Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Location:
8201 Port Austin Road (M-25)
Pigeon, MI 48755

Eligibility Requirements:

* Age 60 or older
* Monthly income of $1,400 or less
* Resident of the Elkton, Pigeon, Bay Port, Caseville, or Owendale area

Each qualifying senior may shop for their own household. A variety of canned goods, boxed foods, and dairy products will be available while supplies last.

Please plan to arrive during the scheduled event hours. There is no advantage to arriving early, as all participants will have the same opportunity to select from the available items.

If you know a senior who may qualify, please share this information or consider offering them transportation to the pantry.

Please take extra precautions:

🏠 Limit time outdoors and avoid strenuous outdoor activity
🪟 Keep windows and doors closed when possible
❄️ Use air conditioning and filtered air if available
💨 Avoid activities that add smoke or particles to indoor air
📱 Monitor local air quality conditions throughout the day

☀️ Just a little Seasons Change check-in! ☀️

We’ve been keeping busy lately and wanted to share a few of the things we’ve been up to outside of the office!

Recently, we had the opportunity to participate in a local golf outing with a wonderful team consisting of our Administrator, Charlotte, our Hospice Medical Director, Dr. Khan, Savannah, and Dawn VanVliet, the fantastic Swing Bed Coordinator at Scheurer Hospital (and one impressive golfer!). We enjoyed spending time with fellow healthcare professionals, making connections throughout our community, and taking advantage of a beautiful day on the course.

This past weekend, another group of our team members—and even some family members—took on the Tough Mudder 5K in Oxford. It certainly lived up to its name: tough, muddy, and full of challenges! More importantly, it was a great reminder of the teamwork, determination, and support that make our agency so special.

We are grateful every day for the opportunity to work alongside such dedicated people, connect with our community, and create memories together both inside and outside of work. Thank you to everyone who helps make Seasons Change such a special place. 💙
