The antioxidants found in dark chocolate, particularly those in varieties with 70 percent or higher cocoa content, have been linked to improved blood vessel function, reduced blood pressure, and better cardiovascular health. For seniors who enjoy a small treat, a square or two of dark chocolate a day can be a genuinely heart-healthy indulgence. 🍫❤️

Our residents and team celebrate National Relaxation Day by honoring those small moments. ☕🌸

High blood pressure often has no symptoms until it becomes a serious problem. Seniors who monitor their blood pressure regularly at home are better positioned to catch concerning changes early and discuss them with their care team before they lead to complications. A simple at-home monitor, used consistently, can be a life-saving tool. 💓🧠
