💗 Sometimes love shows up in the most unexpected, beautiful ways.

We are deeply grateful to share a story that touched all of us at the Jones-Dunklin Cancer Center.

While going through her late parents' belongings, Patti Reeves came across something special that had belonged to her mother — brand-new bras and bra forms, tags still on them. In that tender moment, Patti made a heartfelt choice: she wanted these items to help someone in need.

She reached out until she found us, and we were honored to say yes. 🙏

These gifts now have a home in our resource center, where they'll support patients who can't afford bras and forms after a mastectomy — offering comfort and dignity during one of the scariest times of their lives.

What a beautiful way to honor a mother's memory and lift up our neighbors right here in our community. 💗

Patti, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your kindness will touch more lives than you'll ever know.

With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to a dear friend and neighbor, David Stover. 💙

For more than 40 years, David owned and operated The Drug Room, right here beside our hospital. He wasn't just next door — he was part of the Jefferson Regional family. Our staff knew him. Our community loved him. And countless people across Pine Bluff can share a story about his kindness, his care, and the warm way he made everyone feel welcome.

David gave so much to this community, day after day, for decades. He was a true pillar of Pine Bluff, and his legacy of service will be remembered for years to come.

To David's family, we send our deepest love and condolences. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Rest in peace, David. We will miss you dearly. 🕊️

🌟 Leadership in Action at Jefferson Regional! 🌟
Yesterday, we had the honor of hosting the Leadership Pine Bluff Class of 2026 on our campus! This incredible group of community leaders experienced a day packed with learning, networking, and inspiration. Here's a glimpse of their visit:
🏨 Exclusive Tour: The day kicked off with a tour of our beautiful Warrior Lodge at Jefferson Regional, led by lodge founder Donna Terrell of FOX 16 News.
🍳 Breakfast & Welcome: The class received a warm welcome from our Senior Vice President and Administrator, Peter Austin, who shared our hospital's mission and achievements, including our newest affiliation with the University of Arkansas and UAMS.
🎉 Interactive Health Fair: Representatives from our Healthworks, Outpatient Therapy, Breast Center, Wellness Center, and Emergency Department led a fun and engaging health fair, showcasing the many ways Jefferson Regional supports our community’s health and wellness. Healthworks also held a drawing for a Red Oak gift card generously donated by Saracen!
⚕ Kidney Expertise: Dr. Brandi Wright of Jefferson Regional Nephrology Associates spoke to the group about the importance of preventative health.
🏆 Lunch & Learning: The group competed in a healthcare themed Kahoot quiz while enjoying a delicious lunch provided by our Nutrition Department.
💉Infusion Tour: Ryan Barbry, Lead Dosimetrist at the Jones-Dunklin Cancer Center, led the group in a behind the scenes tour of the Radiation-Oncology suite.
🩺 Final Speaker: The day concluded with an informative talk given by Nick Scherzer, MD, of Jefferson Regional Urology Associates.

We’re proud to partner with Leadership Pine Bluff, a program of the Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce that has been shaping community leaders since 1982. Their mission to broaden perspectives, tackle community issues, and strengthen leadership skills aligns perfectly with our commitment to making a difference in Jefferson County.

❤️ Meet Anne Sipe — a woman whose heart is as big as her talent!
Anne is a patient of Dr. Masood here at our Jones-Dunklin Cancer Center, and she says it plain and simple: he saved her life. 🙏 Through every step of her journey, she felt cared for — not just as a patient, but as a person.
Now, Anne is giving back in the most beautiful way. She hand-stitched quilts and donated them to our Cancer Center's resource boutique, where they'll be offered free to patients who need a little extra comfort and warmth. 🧵 They'll sit alongside wigs, educational materials, and other items — all there to support our neighbors during a tough time.
Anne also had the sweetest words for our staff. From guiding her through insurance questions to simply showing up with kindness, our team goes above and beyond every single day. And moments like this remind us exactly why we do what we do.
To Anne — thank you for wrapping our patients in love, one stitch at a time. 💗
