Behind every diagnosis is a story of strength, and behind every survivor is a journey that doesn't end when treatment does. We want to bring attention to the ongoing challenges you face, from follow-up care to the quiet emotional moments others may never see.

Today, and every day, we celebrate your life. Your courage inspires us, and your resilience reminds us why we do what we do.

To the survivors, the caregivers, and the loved ones who walk this road together—thank you for letting us be part of your journey.

June 5th is National Gun Violence Awareness Day

🧡 Jones-Dunklin Cancer Center Patient Navigators, Kristen and Marie, were honored to attend the 3rd Annual Wear Orange Day at the Pine Bluff Convention Center!
Wear Orange Day is a national event created to bring awareness and foster solutions to the issue of gun violence. It was a wonderful event with a large community turnout! Thanks to all who came by to say hello, chat with us, and sign up for preventative screenings! 🧡

🌼 Congratulations to our newest DAISY Award winner, Josh Chamberlain, RN! 🌼

This honor goes to extraordinary nurses, and Josh's story shows exactly why he earned it.

A patient nominated Josh after a visit to our Emergency Department, and their words say it all. Josh started an IV in a single stick—something no one had managed to do in 20 years. But what stood out most wasn't the skill. It was the heart behind it.

The patient shared that Josh took the time to truly listen and made them feel like a friend, not just a patient. As someone living with sickle cell disease, they've too often been treated harshly and judged. With Josh, that changed.

In their own words: "Jefferson Regional made me feel like patients should always feel. Josh, thank you for listening and not judging me."

Josh, thank you for showing what compassionate, patient-centered care looks like every single day. You make our entire team proud. 💙

Representatives of the Jones-Dunklin Cancer Center, Marie and Sara, enjoyed participating in the health fair today at Opportunity House/ A Project of Depaul USA.

We love being part of local health fairs because they let us meet you where you already are—in your own neighborhood. It's a chance to connect face-to-face, away from the clinical setting, and just talk.

Our team comes ready to share helpful, easy-to-understand information about cancer prevention and the screenings that can catch problems early. We're also there to answer your questions, big or small, with no pressure and no jargon.

More than anything, these events are about building trust. The more we get to know our community, the better we can support you and the people you care about. So if you see our booth at a health fair in the coming months, stop by and say hi! We'd love to chat.
