With deep sorrow and heartfelt compassion, the caring and professional staff of Perry Funeral Home, Inc. join with the Hawkins Family in announcing the earthly transition of their beloved mother, grandmother, matriarch, and friend, Mother Ora Lee Hawkins.

Mother Hawkins has laid down the burdens of this world and received her heavenly reward. Having fought the good fight, finished her race, and kept the faith, she now rests from her labor and rejoices in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her long and remarkable life was a testament to God’s sustaining grace, faithfulness, and mercy.

For nearly 108 years, Mother Hawkins touched and inspired generations of family, friends, and loved ones. Through every season of life, she exemplified perseverance, dignity, compassion, and unwavering faith. Her life stands as a living testimony to God’s goodness and faithfulness from generation to generation. To have lived for more than a century is a rare blessing; to leave behind a legacy of faith, strength, wisdom, and love is an even greater one.

Mother Hawkins now rests safely in the sweet and loving arms of our God. While our hearts are saddened by this earthly separation, we do not mourn as those who have no hope. Rather, we find comfort in God’s promise and rejoice in the assurance that one day we shall meet again in that house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

We humbly ask for your prayers for the entire Hawkins family and for all who were blessed to know and love her during this time of bereavement. May God grant comfort, strength, and peace to each of them.
