WildYoga Colorado

WildYoga Colorado Wildyoga is a way of witnessing our human experience that aims to rekindle deep relationships with nature.

By examining the five elements as they combine in nature, and within ourselves, we cultivate a felt sense of unity with everything that is.

As July comes to a close, I’ll be at Vibrant Movement Collective this Wednesday 7/29 at 5pm to help regulate and restore your nervous system.

Reciprocity in spiritual ecology is the idea that when you pay attention to nature in a loving way, it notices and it gives that back to you.
I encourage everyone to take some time to get to know the plants and animals that you live with. They need your attention and your care.

100 degrees makes it tough to tease trout from the streams. Yet we did our best, and had no shortage of good times. Being a cold water species warm water temps put trout at risk.
This trip, ethical fishing was at the front of my mind. And the interplay between natural expressions of humanness (ie fishing) and the ethical tension of being aware of the impact of your actions. This is what fishing and yoga most have in common, when the ethical practice comes second (or not at all) there’s very little room for growth in connection. But when we practice very gently with these ideas at the front of our mind, both activities change you. I have a lot of thoughts about this, maybe I’ll share more in the future.

I am going to say something very cliche now. Sometimes when your world is falling apart it’s because you’re making room for amazing new ways of being. Trust in the nature of things unfolding.

Joe and I have had many adventures but this one was my favorite so far.

As I sit with loss of yet another dear friend and member of our community to alcohol addiction I cant help but ask myself how I can better show up. As my heart breaks open I am turning to the practice of karama yoga. So I asked myself, What am I not doing that might help someone overcome the addiction process within themselves? How can I be of service to my friends and community right now? And then it hit me like a purse full of bricks.
I am lucky enough to have studied the Yoga of Recovery both as a student in yoga therapy training but also as a person deeply affected by drug and alcohol addiction in my personal relationships. I hope to share some of the tools that have helped me overcome dark times and my own bad habits.
I will be offering this 8 week class every Saturday at 4pm stating February 10 and ending on March 30. There will be no charge.
Message me for more info or to sign up.
