👒 💃 🏇🏻 Throwing it back to last week's Cancer Survivors Day fun at The Fair Barn. It is always incredible to celebrate with a room full of survivors and supporters - we are thankful to everyone who joined us.

Cancer impacts everyone. Nearly 17 million people are living with and beyond cancer in the United States, and there are more than 43 million cancer survivors across the world. Each year, we take a moment to honor cancer survivors throughout our region and beyond, recognizing their fighting spirit and letting them know they will never walk alone.

March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, and FirstHealth is committed to raising awareness of colorectal cancer and preventing future cases.

The American Cancer Society estimates that about 158,000 people in the U.S. will be diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2026. But there is good news. With screening, colorectal cancer is highly preventable.

💕 🗓 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Ladies, your health matters—especially when it comes to early detection.

Here is why it's important...

- 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime
- When detected early, the 5-year survival rate is 99%
- Many women between 30 and 50 are not getting screened regularly

What you can do today...

- Schedule your annual mammogram (starting at age 40 or earlier if you have risk factors)
- Learn how to do monthly self-exams
- Talk to your provider about your family history
