We are thrilled to welcome Sarah Kaiser, D.O., to our family medicine care team in Lee County.

Dr. Kaiser's passion for medicine began at an early age while caring for her grandmother, who faced multiple chronic health conditions. Witnessing those challenges inspired her to pursue a career focused on helping others. Coming from a family of health care professionals, including parents who are pharmacists and an uncle who is a pediatrician, she found medicine to be a natural calling.

Kaiser earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Campbell University JM Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lillington, N.C., and completed her family medicine residency at McLeod Family Medicine Center in Florence, S.C.

A mother. A daughter. A shared passion for helping others. ❤️

When Gabrielle Donze joined FirstHealth's Job Shadowing Program, she had the opportunity to spend time learning from her mother, Kim Donze, who is a nurse practitioner at FirstHealth Family Medicine in Carthage. From primary care visits to exploring the operating room at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Gabrielle is discovering the many paths available in health care and gaining valuable experience as she plans for her future.

"I enjoy caring for people and making them feel seen," Gabrielle said.

ICYMI: We have expanded access to personalized, preventive health care with the relocation of FirstHealth Concierge Medicine and FirstHealth Functional Medicine to a new location at 401 Capital Drive, Suite B in Whispering Pines.

In addition to relocating both programs, the new space introduces advanced wellness and recovery services, including whole-body cryotherapy, infrared sauna therapy and body composition analysis.

The practices began seeing patients and members last month, and later this year FirstHealth Cardiology will also begin seeing patients in the same location.

For Ayahnie Daniel, who recently graduated from Pinecrest High School, the program allowed her to gain valuable experience while continuing her education at Sandhills Community College. Her coursework reinforces the skills she's gaining at Moore Regional Hospital, including drug identification, patient confidentiality and more.

FirstFutures creates early pathways into health care careers by connecting students with real-world experience, education and mentorship. Programs like this are designed to strengthen the local workforce pipeline while providing students with meaningful opportunities close to home.
