Dr. Mahoney founded Mahoney Dermatology Specialists in 2007, with his wife Erin and a staff of two. Our practice is, and always will be, a local family business. Our goal was to create a dermatology practice that was patient-focused, centering on providing cutting edge dermatology for our patients without the “assembly line” feel of many of the large dermatology practices surrounding us today. As

patients ourselves, we don’t like to be rushed, and we appreciate the opportunity to ask questions about the our diagnosis and treatment. We have always sought to treat our patients as we would treat our friends and family, with kindness and compassion, but also with the most advanced and effective care. Our goal is to have a comfortable experience from the time you call the office until the time you leave to pick up your prescriptions. We provide skin care for large local families, sometimes four generations at the same time. We are honored to care for teachers, firefighters, local politicians, and major league athletes. Our patients from all over Tampa Bay include nurses, dentists, physicians, engineers, and local law enforcement officers. Fisherman and golfers, boaters and beach lovers are asked to have their skin checked regularly!
