Home birth may not be for everyone, but for everyone that chooses it, finding the midwife that you "click with" is super important. I am blessed to feel like a part of each family throughout the time I spend with them! First time mama's, repeat clients, and first time home birthers - its always amazing to witness.

This mama kept telling me while in labor "come back tomorrow and then we will have the baby". 😂. But she persevered and pushed this little guy out and earned her golden hour with him!

3 of the may babies decided to come out breech (one was baby A in twins, which was the only one we knew about in advance! ), and each one delivered beautifully at home. I love all deliveries, but breech is so cool to watch(because I don't get to see it so often) because the baby "helps" in movements that we get to see as they come out! .

When the midwife has your pool and walks in just in time to inflate it, fill it, and get mom in for birth, you know it's fast! Repeat clients are so fun, third baby, third home birth!

A doula snapped a picture during a newborn exam. Not only can we take care of mama throughout pregnancy and postpartum, but once baby's born, midwives can provide full care to baby for the first 6 weeks. It's such an honor to support families as they grow!

Here is one of my few and far between posts. It's so incredible to witness moms finding strength they didn't know they had as they give the final pushes to meet their new baby! Birth is tough, but moms are tougher! (posted with moms permission)
