Call me crazy, but I really think this is one of the “secrets” to life! I’ve learned that we’ll most likely never feel ready to do hard things. We’ll always be able to find a reason to not do something uncomfortable if we want to.

But discomfort is where growth happens!

And I’ve also learned that choosing to show up as the person I want to be, even before I feel ready to be that person, is also what grows my confidence in myself!

Is it scary? Yes!
Is it worth it? Always!

So doing something bold today! Show up as the person you’ve always wanted to be and before you know it, you’ll actually be that person! 😉

I’m so grateful I haven’t gotten fully used to this yet. I’m used to it, but not to the point where I’m not appreciative of it.

I dreamt of traveling my whole life but was held back by my size. I needed to buy two seats on a plane. I couldn’t fit in the airplane bathroom so I would dehydrate myself before flights. I kept myself from opportunities because traveling was a burden. Not only did my physical size make it more challenging because of the space I took up, but my limited stamina and energy kept me living a small life and I always knew I wanted more.

It feels so freeing to have more now! 🥰

Yes, being in a smaller body makes many things easier. But it’s being physically healthy that is actually making my life fuller! 🤗

I wanted to lose weight in a healthy way but no one taught me the importance of fiber before I started. 🙈

Fiber is something I want to intentionally focus on more! It’s so important because it supports digestion, helps you stay fuller longer and supports healthy blood sugar! I started drinking Curb to get an easy 5g of prebiotic fiber and I’m loving it!

It also has electrolytes which help with staying hydrated. PLUS, it has chlorogenic acid from green coffee bean and that supports satiety and helps curb cravings alongside the fiber!

This makes my life a little easier by having electrolytes (which I already drink daily anyway) plus fiber (which I’m trying to focus on getting enough of) and I love the taste! That’s a triple win! 😉

Help me! 🫣 I really want to have a staple polka dot dress and I need to decide which one to keep!

I actually like all of them for different reasons, but I just don’t need all of them. 🙈

Which one is your favorite for me?! 🤗

All of these dresses are from Amazon! Plus, they’re comfy, lightweight (single layer) and have pockets! 💃🏻

I tried to be flirty but I’m not good at winking. 😂 This was so fun to make with Ashley! 👯‍♀️ Who’s the better actor?! 🫣

Almost 8 weeks post-op from loose skin removal and liposuction on my thighs and calves with and feeling really good! 🥰

Recovery has been mostly smooth. After the initial swelling went down, I got some texture back in my legs, which feels much more natural for my body. I did have a small setback around the one month mark when a few knee incisions gave me a little trouble. Progress felt a little slower for a couple of weeks, but things started improving again!

My mobility is about 90% back. There are still a few extra-bendy things I can’t do yet, but I can do everything a non-bendy person can. 😂

The incisions on my calves and upper thighs have healed really well. The ones around my knees have been more challenging (joints always seem to be for me), so those scars are looking a bit thicker, but that’s okay!

I’ve been doing lymphatic drainage massages twice a week, elevating my legs regularly, and still wearing compression most of the time because it helps me feel my best!

Overall, I’m really happy with my results and grateful for how recovery has gone. I’m looking forward to being fully back to all my normal activities in the next few weeks! 🤗

Last year I started feeling a little off. More noticeable bloating and inflammation, plus some hormonal changes that had me wondering if I might be starting perimenopause. 🙈 Considering I had 4 surgeries last year, I kept waiting to see if things would eventually balance back out on their own.

But honestly, I’d rather be proactive and look into something early instead of waiting until it becomes impossible to ignore.

I’d been wanting to talk with a healthcare professional about some of these concerns, and Mochi Health made the process feel really easy and approachable!

I loved being able to browse providers, read through their bios and specialties, and choose someone who genuinely felt like a good fit for me. Everything was virtual, booking was super easy, and I immediately felt comfortable talking through my concerns with my provider.

I also have an appointment with a nutritionist through Mochi coming up, and I’m excited to explore whether a less inflammatory approach to nutrition could help me feel better overall!

I know a lot of us are used to ignoring symptoms or trying to self-diagnose online, so I wanted to share this in case it helps someone else too! 🤗

I’m not cleared to fully return to my regular strength training routine yet, but thought it would be helpful to start slowly reconnecting my mind and muscles and rebuilding a foundation after surgery.

The only movement I’ve done since surgery has been walking, so I was definitely cautious going into this. But honestly, everything we tried felt really good for my body!

I’m especially grateful that I had enough energy to do this because that’s still something that can fluctuate a lot for me, even months after surgery. I did get lightheaded a few times, but we intentionally kept everything slow, gentle and low pressure, so nothing felt concerning.

Right now, I’m just grateful to be taking small steps forward again. Recovery may not be linear, but progress is still progress. 💜

At least I make myself laugh. 😂 This clip is from the first episodes in my surgery YouTube series! In case you didn’t know, I hired someone to document this surgery so I could offer even MORE to you! 🤗

I currently have three videos up! This clip is from the day before my surgery. I also have my full surgery day up too — split into two parts!

It’s all on my YouTube account! 🎉 I linked it in the comments!
