We are a family-owned micro-farm located in the Piedmont of Central NC. We specialize in a farm-to-skincare philosophy of professionally formulated, small batch, artisan botanical skincare products, handcrafted soaps, and aromatic wellness and ritual goods. Many of our products include herbs we grow on our farm or other produce/goods sourced from local farmers or other local producers (from honey and mushrooms to beer and coffee!). Further, our commitment to sustainable growing practices ensure that our potent formulations contain the highest quality, most vibrant plant medicine possible. We are deeply committed to being environmentally conscious and intentional - from what we create to what we consume, so we do our best to minimize our footprint in every aspect of our business. You'll find many eco-friendly and zero-waste items to complement our products in our retail boutique! We also feature accessories handcrafted by local artists and artisans. We are proud supporters of our local community. In Celtic mythology and broader European folklore, a sprite is an ethereal nature spirit or a specific type of fairy associated with the natural world, from flowers to forests to bodies of water. They are the guardians of nature and contain magickal powers, protecting the flora and fauna throughout all time. Considered angelic in nature, sprites are usually depicted as tiny, translucent, and ethereal humanoid creatures, often with wings. While generally reclusive and shy, they can be playful or mischievous, with a fondness for dancing and music. They are said to know no hate, only love, and are innocent in the ways of mankind. They live in perpetual peace.

Our Flower Sprite bars sport a eye-catching pink base that we can only describe as something between piglet pink and cantaloupe, lol. Mesmerizing swirls of electric pink, peacock blue, and bright green dance daintily thru each bar like a hummingbird (or fairy!) zipping about the flower garden.

Flower Sprite's aromatic palette unfolds like a sundrenched garden where a sea of flowers blooms confidently, greenery hums softly, and the air feels rich with warmth. This is a floral with depth and presence, while remaining graceful and grounded. Jasmine and orange blossom open in full bloom, luminous and expressive, layered over green galbanum and delicate white tea for a fresh, slightly herbal lift. As the fragrance settles, soft honey and lavender emerge, wrapping the composition in a gentle warmth that feels sunlit, serene, and quietly intoxicating. Vibrant and inviting!

It's my birthday week! 🎊 And the Summer Solstice arrives this weekend! 🌞

Here's our latest tribute to the Solstice....

🌞 ZENITH 🌞
Our Zenith bars celebrate the Summer Solstice (June 21st this year), marking the day the Sun reaches its highest zenith, directly over the Tropic of Cancer, and when the Earth reaches its maximum axial tilt towards the Sun. Solstice comes from the Latin words sol, meaning Sun and sistere, meaning to come to a stop or stand still. At the moment of the Summer Solstice, its zenith does not move north or south as during most other days of the year, but it stands still at the Tropic of Cancer. It then reverses its direction and starts moving south again. It is the year's longest day and shortest night, symbolizing the peak of summer. Of course, we here at Solstice are all about the Summer Solstice!

The design of our Zenith bars depicts a riotous blue wave, punctuated by a black pencil line that symbolically represents the division of the dark and the light, as from here on the days will continue to shorten, until we reach the Winter Solstice in December. Above the pencil line, the Sun's fiery rays burn brightly in swirls of orange and pink. Dramatic and bold!

Zenith is scented in a fan favorite - vibrant citrus top notes accented by summer-fresh peach & pineapple for an instant mood uplift. Heart notes of apple-like chamomile, raw honey, and tea leaves offer soothing comfort, deftly balanced by a grounding base of warm sandalwood, cedarwood, and musk. Summer's warmth has never felt this good!

It's been just over 2 weeks now that Meta strangled my post reach by changing the way Insta crossposts to FB. While, admittedly, my reach has never been stellar, my posts are now only being seen by 100 or so folks across all platforms. Sigh.
