Many people have asked me, what is a doula? Well a doula is a trained labor companion who provides emotional, physical, informational, mediational and spiritual support to new and expectant parents before, during and in the early postpartum period. Doulas do not provide medical care or give any medical advice. A doula advocates for you and your birth vision, we offer support in addition to the support you receive from your partner or other family members.

Hello everyone, I am Shailyn and here at hugs and kisses doula services my goal is to assist parents with having a positive and exhilerating experience during childbirth whether this is your 1st child or your 5th I want to provide you with an exceptional service. It does not matter your age, race, ethnicity, sexual preference, relationship status, citizenship, spiritual beliefs, I believe every individual should have an everlasting and memorable experience during child birth. As a certified doula I do not provide medical interventions, services, or make medical suggestions. Any medical questions or concerns should be directed to your healthcare provider.
