FR RUNNING CLIENT SHOUTOUT!!

Chris signed up for his first half marathon and committed to following a training plan from day 1! I loved getting to coach him for this one and could not have been happier to watch him finish sub-2 on his first try!!! This was his first road race ever and he absolutely crushed it!! Thanks for trusting the process, even when “the process” required running through a Philadelphia winter…

Sumo pullers don’t like stiff hips… 1-2 rounds is all you need:

1. Banded Hip Distraction W/ ER and IR
2. Banded Hip Distraction Adductor Rockers
3. Band Hip Distraction Hip Flexor Stretch w/ Lean Away
4. Weighted Upper Trap and Scalene Mobilization/Stretch
5. Cossack Squats
6. Deficit Sumo Holds Keeping Hips OPEN

Shouldn’t take more than 10-12 minutes. Give it a go!

CONGRATULATIONS RACHAEL!!!

If you know Rachael then this won’t surprise you, but if you don’t, she’s a badass. Last weekend she finished her first ever 25k at the race! She crushed her goal time by 11 whole ass minutes too! INSANE.

Rachael approached me a little over a year ago saying that she wanted to try running again. She hadn’t been able to run for four years due to knee injuries and pain. She was serious about starting her running era, so we got to work.

She did not miss a workout, did ALL of the boring monotonous work, kept the end goal in sight, is now running PAIN FREE, and CRUSHED her LONGEST RUN EVER.

Not only that, but along the way she also hit a bench press PR, started doing WEIGHTED pull-ups, and can still deadlift over 300lb.

Super proud of you Rachael! Excited for the 50k in October!!!
