✨U=U: The Game-Changer You Need to Know!✨

Undetectable=Untransmittable

What does U=U mean? It means that a person living with HIV who is on effective HIV treatment and has achieved and maintained an undetectable viral load cannot transmit HIV to their sexual partners.

Why is U=U so important?

It’s a highly effective method of HIV prevention, alongside other tools like PrEP.

It gives people living with HIV control over their health and relationships.

We’re here to provide the care, resources, and education needed for everyone to live full, healthy lives!

Last week, the Center for Inclusion Health held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new mobile van donated by the Brothers Brother foundation. Partnerships like this are essential to sustaining CIH’s work, enabling us to provide care for underserved populations and meet patients where they are. The van will support the Outreach, Street Medicine, and Addiction Medicine teams in their outreach activities and mobile health events. Brother’s Brother Foundation Allegheny Health Network 💙💚🚐

We are gathering in faith, not judgement nor stigma, to support local families and individuals impacted by the disease of addiction. Join with others in the Carnegie area to see and discuss an informative video that breaks down the treatment and recovery process for a substance use disorder. You are not alone! Get the support and services your family deserves.

Reflecting on a great CIH retreat last week. Our team immersed ourselves in impactful discussions around inclusion health and the future, heard from inspiring speakers, had fun with a prize raffle, and took a moment of relaxation with staff acupuncture sessions. It’s truly amazing to see the progress we’re making together at the Center for Inclusion Health. Looking forward to what’s next!
