Five years ago, I took a leap of faith.
Today, we’re celebrating five years of healing, growth, community, and purpose.
From one vision to a team. From one dream to countless lives touched.
I’m beyond grateful for every client, every referral, every partnership, every prayer, and every person who’s been part of this journey.

Self-Care Sunday. 🤍🩷

One thing this journey has taught me is that self-care isn’t always a spa day or a vacation.

Sometimes it’s slowing down long enough to be with the people who remind you who you are outside of the work.

As I get ready to celebrate five years of Hope Deals tomorrow, I’m feeling especially grateful for the love, support, laughs, prayers, and village that’s carried me through every season.

Today, I’m choosing family.
Tomorrow, we celebrate.

Five years later, and one thing I’m sure of… Hope Deals has never just been about me.

Thank you to every client who’s trusted me with your healing. To every clinician who’s chosen to be part of this vision. To every referral partner, community organization, friend, family member, and supporter who’s shared a post, recommended our services, prayed for us, or simply believed in what we’re building.

You all are part of this story.

Five years of hope. Five years of healing. And we’re just getting started. 💜

Day 4 🌸

Self-Care Sunday started as an idea… and became a movement.

Every year, we’ve created space for women to pause, heal, grow, and choose themselves. Looking back at these memories reminds me just how far we’ve come.

Thank you to every woman who has attended, every speaker, volunteer, sponsor, and supporter. You helped make this vision what it is today.

Dear Khavah,

Do that s**t.

Step out on faith.

Keep going.

That little side hustle you’re working on a few nights a week is going to become more than you ever imagined.

Do you, boo.

Your big gold door-knocker earrings, long nails, braids, and weaves will be appreciated. The things that make you you aren’t something to hide—they’ll become part of your brand.

You’ll become a speaker, a clinical supervisor, and one day, people will call you an expert.

You’ll build a team. Three amazing clinicians will believe in your vision and help you carry the mission even further.

You’ll meet some bomb women and men who will pray for you, support you, speak your name in rooms you’re not in, and genuinely want to see you win.

And your friends… honey, your friendsssssss. 🥹 They’ll celebrate you, pray with you, and remind you who you are when you forget.

And your mama? Whew. 💜 She and her friends are going to ride for HOPE like it’s their own.

You’ll celebrate with your clients through some of the happiest moments of their lives, and you’ll sit with them through some of their darkest.

You’ll mourn with them, laugh with them, and sometimes carry hope for them until they can find it again.

One day, you’ll step out of Happy Hour to answer a phone call from a client going through their first breakup. You’ll want to pull up… but HIPAA. 😂

There will be long nights, tears, hard lessons, and moments when you question yourself.

Keep going.

Trust God, even when you can’t see what He’s doing… ‘cause He ain’t NEVA played about you.

The prayers you’re praying today? He’s already answering them.

One day, you’ll realize you didn’t just build a business.

You built a place where people find hope, healing, and a fresh start.

And somewhere along the way…

Hope won’t just be the name of your business.

Hope will become your baby.

These aren't just logos to me. They each represent a different season of my life.

My first logo came at a time when I was stepping out on faith and taking a chance on myself. It was actually a gift from a good friend who believed in my vision.

My second logo came during one of the hardest seasons of my life. I was grieving and trying to find my way through it. The heart symbol is a Ghanaian Adinkra symbol that means, with God's grace, all will be well and that things will work out in His timing. I needed that reminder then, and I still do today.

Then came Self-Care Sunday.

At first, it was just an event. But then, I realized it had become so much more. It became a community, a movement, and a reminder that self-care isn't a luxury—it's something we all deserve.

These logos are so important to me. They show my growth.

As a woman.
As a therapist.
As an entrepreneur.

The logos have changed, but the heart behind Hope Deals never has.
