I know, you want to will your body to heal ASAP, however, the body is going to heal on its own time every time. This isn’t a process you can rush. You need to plan for recovery like you planned for your surgery. It’s not an easy and the mental stress will get to you. Trust the process! Be consistent with your massages, drink water, avoid salty and processed foods & compress, compress, COMPRESS! If your therapist isn’t addressing fibrosis in the beginning stages and is only massaging they are doing you a major disservice!
