Today I got to do something I haven’t done in a while—switch roles and be the student. 💙

I completed my Level 1 Gendai Reiki training, and it was such a wonderful experience. As much as I love teaching Reiki, there’s something really special about being a student again and continuing to expand my own practice.

Every class I take helps me deepen my understanding and allows me to bring even more knowledge and experience to my students and clients.

Today is International Self-Care Day! 💙

Did you know it’s observed on 7/24 because self-care isn’t something we should practice just once in a while—it’s something we should practice 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

For me, self-care includes Reiki, yoga, massage, reflexology, acupuncture, and chiropractic care. But I also know that sometimes those things just aren’t in the budget. Life happens. Bills happen.

Some of the simplest forms of self-care are completely free. Step outside. Take a few slow, intentional breaths. Stretch. Listen to the birds. Drink a glass of water.

Self-care isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s about finding what helps you feel grounded, supported, and connected to yourself.

While trimming fresh mint from my porch herb garden, I noticed a tiny feather tucked among the leaves.

I immediately thought of my mom because tiny feathers have become one of the little ways I feel she’s saying hello.

Just after I stopped recording, a female cardinal landed in the holly bush a few feet away and began chirping.🥰

For me, it was a beautiful reminder from my mom that she’s still with me in the little moments. 🥲

There’s something truly magical about live music. 💙✨

On 7/7, I had the joy of seeing Benson Boone in concert with my best friend and her son. It was his very first concert, and watching the excitement and wonder through his 11 year old eyes was just as special as the music itself.

My bestie and I both agreed—it was hands down the best concert we’ve ever experienced! And to make it even more memorable, Pittsburgh was the very first stop on the tour.

Music carries energy. It has a way of lifting our vibration, opening our hearts, and bringing thousands of people together as one. For a few hours, nothing else mattered—just being fully present in the moment.

Maybe that’s why 7/7 felt so fitting… a day often associated with alignment, intuition, and a little extra magic. ✨🎶

My dad has always had a way of making people smile. 😊

If you’re new to Bathroom Bill, my dad is known for his entertaining public restroom reviews. This time, though, he traded bathrooms for bakeries and has a much sweeter assignment… dessert reviews! 🍰

Over the Fourth of July weekend, we brought home a delicious assortment of desserts from La Gourmandine in Mount Lebanon and filmed his honest taste-test reactions.

One dessert earned a perfect 10/10… and something happened that I honestly don’t remember ever seeing before—my dad actually passed on trying one of the desserts!🤯

I hope this brings a smile to your face and a little joy to your day. 💙
