On this day in 1990, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed into law, prohibiting discrimination against people with disabilities and guaranteeing them the same opportunities as everyone else.

Dr. Johanna Vidal-Phelan, President and CEO, along with Shawn Shuman, Chief Operating Officer, and John Jubas, Chief Financial Officer, recently met with the Tree of Life team to explore opportunities to strengthen connections between our organizations and the communities we serve.

As neighboring nonprofit organizations, our missions are distinct, but our goals are aligned in building stronger, healthier, and more compassionate communities.
