Lytia S. Brock Continues Legacy of Service Through “Keep It 100” Community Giving Campaign
leader, author, coach, and nonprofit founder Lytia S. Brock continues to make a lasting impact throughout the region through her dedication to serving those in need.
In recognition of her outstanding commitment to community service through Cloaked In Favor Outreach Ministries, Lytia was presented with a Proclamation from former Pittsburgh Mayor Ed Gainey, honoring her years of service, advocacy, and efforts that have touched countless lives throughout the city and beyond.
Following that honor, Lytia expanded her community impact by partnering with Shuman’s Homewood to launch the inaugural “Keep It 100” Community Outreach Initiative. Through this effort, more than 100 free meals were distributed in Downtown Pittsburgh to everyday workers, individuals experiencing homelessness, returning citizens, and community members facing hardship.
The event was filled with compassion, meaningful conversations, and genuine connections. More than a meal, it was an opportunity to remind people that they are seen, valued, and supported.
Now, one year later, Lytia and Cloaked In Favor Outreach Ministries are once again bringing the community together through the 2026 Keep It 100 Giving Campaign.
This year’s initiative is being conducted in partnership with the Womens Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh to support women and families seeking safety, stability, and hope.
From June 30, 2026 through August 5, 2026, community members are invited to help collect and donate 100 tangible items, including gift cards and essential household and personal care items identified on the shelter’s needs list.
Donations can be made through the campaign website, by scanning the campaign QR code, or by coordinating directly with Cloaked In Favor Outreach Ministries for donation pickup or drop-off opportunities.
“Everyone needs a helping hand at some point in life,” says Lytia Brock. “When we come together as a community, we can help restore dignity, provide hope, and remind people that they are not alone.”
Through every initiative, Lytia remains committed to her mission of serving others, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities for individuals and families to rebuild and thrive.
