Creating a safe sleep space is one of the simplest and most important ways to protect your baby.

✨ Place baby on their back for every sleep
✨ Use a firm mattress with a fitted sheet
✨ Choose a safety-approved crib, bassinet, or portable crib
✨ Skip swings, bouncy seats, and carriers for routine sleep
✨ Keep the crib clear — no blankets, pillows, toys, or bumpers

This inspiring new program is dedicated to creating brighter, more welcoming spaces for children, families, and veterans. We’re so grateful they chose The Children's Home of Pittsburgh to kick off this meaningful work.

Thanks to the amazing Pittsburgh Paints Company team and their employee volunteers today, our Green Unit received a fresh new look, our nurses and families were treated to coffee and donuts, and we were presented with an incredible $10,000 gift to support the children and families we serve.

We're growing our Counseling Services team! If you're passionate about helping children, teens, and their families overcome life's challenges, consider joining us as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.

This full-time position, with availability to work a minimum of two evenings and/or Saturday as part of regular schedule, includes in-person and telehealth counseling, a supportive treatment team, opportunities for clinical supervision, and outstanding benefits.
