At Manifest, we are proud to be an LGBTQIA+-owned and operated therapy practice committed to providing inclusive, gender-affirming, and LGBTQIA+-affirming care for individuals and couples of all identities.

Pride is a time to celebrate authenticity, community, resilience, and joy. It is also a time that can bring up grief, stress, fear, loneliness, or reminders of past and ongoing experiences of discrimination and marginalization. Both can exist at the same time.

This month, we honor the strength it takes to show up as yourself in a world that does not always make that easy. Whether Pride feels empowering, complicated, joyful, painful, or all of the above, your experience is valid.

With over five years of experience, Lex specializes in addiction and substance use, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and trauma/PTSD, and is deeply committed to LGBTQIA+ affirmative care. Lex honors each client’s individuality and works to foster a safe, welcoming environment for all.

Lex practices from a person-centered foundation rooted in empathy and authenticity, integrating Psychodynamic Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, Existential Therapy, and Internal Family Systems to meet each client’s unique needs.

The weeks after the holidays can feel unexpectedly difficult.

The holidays are often framed as joyful, but for many people they also carry grief, stress, family dynamics, and emotional exhaustion. When that season ends and winter stretches on, the shift can feel destabilizing.

If you are feeling slower, more sensitive, or drained, nothing is wrong with you. Your nervous system is responding to a season that asks for rest and intention.

This is a time to soften expectations, move more gently, and listen inward. Slowing down is not falling behind. It is care.
