June is Men's Health Month! This Men's Health Month, we want to bring awareness to some concerns around men's skin health especially.

According to the AAD, men are more likely than women to develop melanoma, the most serious and deadly type of skin cancer. Staying sun aware and using SPF 30 or higher can help prevent skin cancer, and frequent skin checks can catch skin cancer early, increasing the likelihood of a cure.

Health maintenance is of extreme importance to everyone. This June, take some time to evaluate your skincare routines, as well as overall health routines, including visiting a primary care provider or seeking mental health care if needed. Remember to schedule an appointment with your dermatologist if you are dealing with a chronic skin condition, or just to complete a routine skin exam! Your skin will thank you.
