Marian Hall Home is an assisted-living facility situated on an 11-acre campus, high atop a hillside overlooking beautiful vistas in the northern suburbs of Pittsburgh. It is state-licensed, and has been dedicated to professional, respectful care for the elderly since 1970. Marian Hall is located at Mount Assisi Convent, the home of the School Sisters of St. We provide 60 private, furnished rooms i
n two buildings that include modern security systems. Each room includes a private bath, individual temperature control, and an emergency call system. Laundry, linen, and housekeeping services are also part of our daily care. Telephones and cable television are available at affordable fees. Residents can provide their own personal furniture, if they desire. Our cafeteria is open for three meals and two snacks each day. Food is also stocked in resident lounges on each floor. Residents find Marian Hall has a family atmosphere, where they can be as independent as possible. They enjoy unlimited visitation privileges, both on and off the Mount Assisi campus. All in all, Marian Hall is a great place to live! Individuals in need of personal care for certain activities of daily living require an atmosphere of support, but one that fosters independence as well. Staff personnel at Marian Hall are dedicated to achieving such balance, for the welfare of residents, their family members, and other caregivers. Residents can receive round-the-clock care under the supervision of our nursing staff. They also enjoy unlimited visitation privileges, both on- and off-campus, which contributes greatly to the family atmosphere of Marian Hall. And our beautiful chapel helps all the people of Marian Hall enjoy a full spiritual life, following in the path of the mission and values of the School Sisters of Saint Francis. Residents at Marian Hall Home typically range in age from their mid-70s to their upper-90s, both female and male. Many are Catholic, and most — but not all — come from the Pittsburgh area. In cases where assisted-living arrangements are appropriate for them, married couples share a room. Marian Hall Home residents enjoy an excellent quality-of-life experience. Achieving physical, spiritual and emotional balance for residents is one of the objectives of Marian Hall's staff. Feedback from residents indicates that we are meeting these objectives.
