This is Calvin! Calvin moved into the Pines a few months ago and began participating in Physical and Occupational therapy to work on general strengthening, safety, balance, and independence with his daily activities. Calvin initially required moderate assistance with his transfers, balance, standing activities and ADLs. He also needed frequent safety cues and became easily fatigued during daily activities in his apartment and when taking short walks down the hallway.

Calvin works hard and never turns down a therapy session. He strives each session to do a little better, walk a little farther, and be a little more independent with every session. Calvin always has a positive attitude and is a joy to work with! And, after several weeks of hard work in therapy with EmpowerMe Calvin has made excellent progress and is close to reaching all his long-term goals. This is why we have chosen Calvin as our Star of the Month! Way to go Calvin!!
