The 12th Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Symposium (PSRS) would not be successful without much helps from everyone.

This year, despite the virtual platform, we still attracted over 100 people to join our symposium. We received around 60 abstracts from 5 different universities. And over 40 people present at the 12th PSRS!

We sincerely thank everyone on the 12th PSRS Committee who devoted their time to the preparation! We also thank all the support from the leadership from three pharmacy schools; students, post-doc trainees, and faculty who volunteered and participated.

Special thanks to our amazing speakers, Dr. Les Benet and Dr. Karen Habucky for their wonderful talks! Thank you to all the participants who enjoyed our live sessions in Mar. 20th.

Last but not the least, we want to thank our sponsors. We want to thank AAPS for providing the funding for all three student chapters. Thank ACRO Biosystems Inc. and PittPharmacy-GSO for providing awards to our winners.

Let us congratulate all the winners once again. And we look forward to seeing you all at our PSRS next year (and hopefully in person)!

We are thrilled to announce that the 12th PSRS is now open for registration! It is a free symposium with highlighted academic talks and many networking opportunities. To RSVP, please visit www.12psrs.com.

This year, we are very fortunate to have invited two amazing speakers:

• Dr. Les Benet: Professor and Former Chairman at the department in the Department of Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences, UCSF; Founder, and President of AAPS in 1986

• Dr. Karen Habucky: PittPharmacy Alumnus; The US Medical Head for Gene and Cell at Novartis; President of AAPS in 2008

Not to mention that this will also be a great chance for students and postdoc trainees to share your research with faculties and peers from other universities and the pharmaceutical industry. Please check out the attached flyer for more information on the 12th PSRS! For more details, please also check out our website (www.12psrs.com).

Please feel free to contact our committee ([email protected]) if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you online on Mar.20th!

We partnered with Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and organized a virtual Food Drive. And the PITT pharmacy family could provide up to 4,278 meals for people struggling with hunger in our community.

We hope our efforts can help out a little, and we will keep giving back to our community.

The Pitt-Pharmacy AAPS Student Chapter wishes you all a great holiday season!🥰

We've made it! With the holiday season approaching, we have successfully made it through the rocky year of 2020. As we prepare virtual gatherings and celebrate, let's not forget those who are still in need. Historically, the Pitt-Pharmacy AAPS Student Chapter hosts an annual Food Drive to support our community. This year we need your help more than ever. We are partnering with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and holding a Virtual Food Drive, NOW through December 21st.

For every $1 donated, you are helping to provide up to five nutritious meals for families and individuals in your community! Let's take this wonderful opportunity to give back to the community and support families deeply in need.

Should you wish to donate, please use the following link: University of Pittsburgh American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists Virtual Food Drive (qgiv.com)

Feel free to share on your social media to help more people join in the force. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
