Professional office position is based in Squirrel Hill working at Barberry Ridge Home Care - includes paid vacation/holidays and employer paid health benefits. Fluent Russian and English required.
DUTIES
Responsible for the coordination of initial client assessments, follow-up visits and communications with clients and/or their representative(s).
Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of scheduling employees for client visits per service agreements and/or managed care authorizations. Scheduling coordination duties include the accurate and timely communication of scheduling changes between office and field staff.
Back up support to Office Manager. Assist with new hire onboarding process, training and credentialing.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains current client roster with necessary information and updates.
Prepares schedule for field staff. Updates schedule with any changes.
Controls and monitors schedule changes.
On-Call after hours rotation required.
Checks compliance of completed visits after all notes are matched to charges in accordance to service contract. Brings any scheduling problems to Agency Manager.
Responsible for taking and following-up new client referrals.
Coordinate managed care authorizations with Billing/Payroll Coordinator for accurate scheduling and billing.
Assists office manager with new hire acquisition, Electronic Visit Verification setup and dashboard, HHAexchange mobile setup.
Provides client and caregiver notes necessary for maintaining communication between office staff.
Responsible for relaying messages and maintaining follow-up communications to field staff, office staff and clients and/or their representative(s).
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred, but not required.
One-year experience as a coordinator and/or scheduler in home care or other related field.
Should be a skilled organizer able to manage office files and staff schedules.
Experience with scheduling software preferred.
Must possess light secretarial skills and have polite telephone demeanor.
Must have a criminal check and other checks as required by Pennsylvania regulation.
Fluent English and Russian required
