Food insecurity is a big issue in Pittsburgh, but together, we can do something about it. 💪🏻

Join us at Our Giving Kitchen PGH as we come together to prepare 150 meals for our neighbors in need. Bring your family, roll up your sleeves, and spend a Sunday afternoon doing something that can change peoples' lives.

As we approach Physician Su***de Awareness Day this month, we’re launching Love Your Doc, a year-long ACMS campaign celebrating the physicians who care for our community.

Throughout the campaign, we’ll partner with local businesses to give you a chance to write a note of appreciation to a physician who has made an impact on your life. And we’re kicking things off with a local favorite!

We’re seeing BIG changes across healthcare right now, and they’re happening fast. From vaccines and public health to access to care, there’s a lot being debated. And who better to weigh in than the people in the exam room every day?

On September 29, physicians, residents, and medical students will head to Harrisburg for the 2026 PAMED Legislative Advocacy Day. Several of our ACMS members will join physicians from across the state to meet with lawmakers, share what they’re seeing in their practices, and talk about the issues affecting their patients and their day-to-day work.

We’re looking for a Vice President of Membership & Communications to help shape what’s next for ACMS. This brand-new senior leadership role will lead efforts to grow membership, strengthen physician engagement, and expand ou reach across Allegheny County.

We’re looking for someone who is:
✅ A strategic thinker and strong relationship-builder
✅ Experienced in membership, communications, healthcare, associations, or nonprofit leadership
✅ Skilled at leading teams, managing projects, and using data to drive results
✅ Excited about building meaningful connections with physicians

This is a hybrid role with three days in the office and two remote, plus occasional event-related evenings and weekends.
