On Saturday, October 24, 2026, Dominic Fagnelli, age 85, of Pleasant Hills, passed away unexpectedly. Loving husband of Theresa Ann Tatrai and the late Helen Fusaro; son of the late Domenic Fagnelli and Elizabeth (Dalesandry) Fagnelli; father of Joseph (Valerie) Fanelli and Amy (Gail) Raynelli; step-father of Jennifer (Mark) and Jason (Kathy) Tatrai; grandfather of Samuel (Caitlin), Max, Benjamin (Claire) and Xyler; step-grandfather of Jonathan, Peter and Ashlyn; great-grandfather of Emersyn; brother of Marlene Rowe and the late Anthony Fagnelli, John Fagnelli, Mary Alice Davis, Gloria Rowe and Ernest Fagnelli.

Dom was a registered Master Plumber who served countless families over his decades of business ownership. He was especially proud of his time spent as a Stationary Engineer working on the University of Pittsburgh Cathedral of Learning from 1967-2004. He was also an avid skier, and gave ski lessons as an instructor at 7 Springs for over 30 years. Dom was a great teacher of plumbing, and loved instructing others on winemaking, sharing his knowledge, and ordering "mustgo" with his family and friends. He was also passionate about listening to and playing music, and gifted a harmonica to each of his grandchildren. He will be lovingly remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and his role as the LIFE OF THE PARTY.

On Saturday, October 24, 2026, Dorothy "Dolly" (Niccolai) Caponi, age 96, passed away 3 days shy of her 97th birthday with her family by her side. She was born and raised in Willock by her loving parents, the late Duilio and Clara Niccolai. She was baptized in St. David Church in 1930 and became a lifelong member of the parish. Devoted wife to the late Nelson Caponi. She loved her family more than anything, and is survived by her children, Wayne, Richard (Donna), Robert (Marlene) and Danny (Tammy) Caponi; her grandchildren, who made her so very proud, Rich (Emily), Nick (Caitlin), Matt (Kathleen), Mike (Heather), Danny (Natalie), Michelle (Joe Fusco), Lisa, Neil and Bobby Caponi; her great-grandchildren, who were all very special to her, Carmine, Rocco, Gabriella, Charlotte, Alexandra, Salvatore, Sienna, Arlo, and Sylvia; dear sister of the late Alfred, Remo and Robert Niccolai; sister-in-law of the late John and Elda Caponi, and Irene and Eleanor Niccolai; also survived by extended family members. Dolly's life was not easy and was full of ups and downs, but she never lost her faith and always said that with God's help she survived. On Tuesday, October 6, 2026, Nancy Lee (Sewchok) Kolich, age 88, of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Library, passed away. Beloved wife of the late Peter L. Kolich, Jr.; loving mother of Peter L. (Sharon) Kolich III of MO, Michele Sinclair of NY, Nancy Parsons of FL, and Kathleen Schumacker of South Park; daughter of the late Michael and Lilas (Bowen) Sewchok; grandmother of Peter, Michael, Mark, Meghan, Heather, Adam, Eric, Michael, Cassie, Jessica, Stephanie, Laurie, and Chaz; also survived by several great-grandchildren; sister of Michalene (late Ronald) Lehman and the late Lilas (Donald) Soukup. Nancy was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whose family was the center of her life. She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and adored her. MARDIS DARNELL ETHRIDGE, age 71, was born on January 12, 1955, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, He was affectionately known as Darnell to all who knew him. Darnell was raised in the loving home of his late parents, Barbara and Emmett Ethridge II. Darnell carried the love and influence of his family with him throughout his life. Darnell entered eternal rest on October 3, 2026.

Darnell attended Baldwin High School, where he was an exceptional all-around athlete with a love for sports, including ice skating. In 1979, he proudly joined the United States Air Force, serving his country as a Jet Engine Mechanic.

Darnell attended Sunrise Baptist Church as a child, and later gave his life to the Lord and was baptized at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Library, PA. He was known by those who loved him as a protector, dependable, and loving man. Above all, he cherished his role as a son, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Darnell was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett Ethridge II and Barbara Ethridge; his brother, Emmett Ethridge II; and his nephew, Christian Eubanks.

He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings: Garry Ethridge of Pittsburgh, PA, Richard Ethridge, Kenneth Ethridge, & Phillip (Anna) Ethridge of Ocean City, MD, Rhonda Eubanks of Chicago, IL, Deborah Wilson of Pittsburgh, PA, Michelle Cramer of Joplin, MO, and Reggie Patterson of Pittsburgh, PA. On Saturday, October 3, 2026, Lynn (Butler) McLaughlin, age 61, of West Mifflin, passed away unexpectedly. Sister of Scott P. Butler and Robyn Hilla; mother of the late Ashley, Brian, and Tyler; grandmother of Davae Forrester and Destini Forrester; also survived by her Aunt Kelly, Aunt Tina, nieces, and nephews. Lynn was a strong woman and LPN since she was 23 years old working in home healthcare taking care of special needs children. She loved to garden, bake, and be there for her family. She loved to play farkle and cards with her family. Lynn was loved by everyone who met her, and will be sorely missed. On Monday, September 28, 2026, Phillip E. "Phil" Wuerthele, age 86, of Baldwin Borough, passed away at his home with his loving wife by his side. Son of the late Albert and Lillian (Pillet) Wuerthele; beloved husband of 43 years to Maureen L. (Swindell) Wuerthele; loving father of Kim Banks; grandfather of Zach (Cassie) and Cailey Breneman; great-grandfather of Sophia and Alex Breneman; brother of Ken (Carol) Wuerthele and Mary West; also survived by many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Julee.

Phil had a magnetic personality, and could talk to anyone about anything. He always greeted friends with a smile and hug, and had a knack for making you feel special and heard. Phil was undeniably a people-person: he was a wonderful conversationalist and sensitive listener who could always tell when someone was in need of support. He owned Brentwood Auto Body in Brentwood (then on Route 51, and later in Baldwin), where he worked as an auto body repairman for over 50 years. He was uniquely enthusiatic about his career and didn't view it as a job, but rather helping countless new friends over his decades in business. He was passionate about NASCAR and stock car racing, leaving many of his nieces and nephews with fond memories of attending local races together. He was also a profound animal lover and outdoor enthusiast, who especially enjoyed spending time walking through the woods. On Monday, September 28, 2026, Rodney A. Douglass, age 61, of Belle Vernon, passed away unexpectedly. Husband of Susan (Sekely) Douglass; father of Rachel E. Douglass, Rodney "Bubz" A.M. (Abby) Douglass, Connor T. (Michaela) Och and Corey M. It is with deep sadness and much love that we mourn the passing of Rose Marie (Lynch) Neill, age 88, of Baldwin Borough, who died on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Beloved wife of the late James B. Neill, Jr.; loving mother of Linda D. (George) McCartney, Colleen D. (Wayne) Frazier, and James B. (Lisa) Neill III; grandmother of Shaun (Stephanie) McCartney, Eric (Andrea) McCartney, Christine Frazier, James B. On Wednesday, September 23, 2026, Richard J. Landa, age 76, of Baldwin Borough, passed away with his loving wife and daughter by his side. Beloved husband of 52 years to Janet M. (Oravetz) Landa; loving father of Jennifer (Lane) Tredway and Victoria Landa; brother of Christina (Charles) Jae and the late Henrietta (Edward) Most and Regina Prokopczuk; son of the late Eugenia and Joseph Landa; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Richard was a prolific stamp collector who enjoyed educating others about his passion. He was also an avid Pitt football and Duke basketball fan, and in his free time enjoyed fishing and learning about WWII history. Above all, he will be lovingly remembered for his selflessness, kindness, generosity, sense of humor, and his ability to see the beauty in everyone.
