It's awesome that this teacher did this for these children to learn!👏👏👏 I will add though, that once ✨️ANYONE✨️ is victimized, it's easier for them to shut down again and again. Yes, society teaches girls differently than boys but💯 that teaching is also the reason that boys will often not speak up when they've been victimized... because we don't talk enough about the fact that boys can be victimized too and the emasculation they feel keeps them quiet. And EVEN WORSE, for all genders and sexes, there were STILL people who are dismissed when they report their abuse!🤬 So, Someone FINALLY gets the courage to say that they have been victimized, regardless of their sex/gender and it lands on deaf/dismissive ears! Talk about creating learned helplessness! It's a sin! 👹This teacher really helped these children in a hugely important way this day. I just wish she didn't emphasize that only girls are silenced.🥺 But, it was almost 2 decades ago, so I'll be forgiving. 😉
