Although I love treating Myofascial issues and Infertility it is very important to understand that having an acupuncturist who treats ‘whatever walks through the door’ shapes a sharp sword!

We are not forced to specialize!

Acupuncturists are primary care - meaning you do not need a referral… it is up to us to decide whether this is the right treatment for you, the right option for you and to design treatment for *you* based on classical training + experience … most of us have a 4yr undergrad and a 4yr master of science in Acupuncture, before years of training…

Treating “everything” keeps us diagnostically sharp and constantly learning. Every day I see new things and fold this into my repertoire …

After 18 years… think about all I have seen, and how that benefits you!

I’d like to take a minute to honor two incredible University students (chemistry, neuroscience)
who are spending their summer advancing important works~

I could not be more proud of these young adults who I have watched grow up from middle school

Part of the joy of being in practice for 18 years is watching you grow!!! you amaze me every day.

Thank you for serving your communities and for taking wild opportunities this summer away from family, out of your comfort zones, working in the community! Teaching Building and Learning.

Good video as to why we don’t blame the joint for movement restrictions!

I’m not sure about the whole three parent analogy: but you get the point it’s about many muscles moving together, apart.

If any of those muscles don’t move correctly, there is restriction at the joint or down the arm, even into the elbow and fingers…

Seeing an acupuncturist who only knows how to treat the joint is the same as going to a physical therapist who treats everything by strengthening
It either does nothing or it makes it worse… the joint doesn’t need better blood flow, and it certainly doesn’t need to be tighter!

>> young competitive athletes are not coming in here for better blood flow. They are coming in here for tension and restriction in movement…

If you don’t go to a myofascial Acupuncture specialist, you will never get rid of the SOFT TISSUE restrictions causing joint immobility/restruction- you simply won’t heal… you will stay tight and you will stay restricted which can impact performance on a daily basis and cause pain.

Ps: stop pushing on the joint if it’s not the problem! Stop focusing on the joint unless you’re dealing with a direct concussive blow or fall, that’s a different kind of trauma.
