When minutes matter, care close to home saves lives.
Janet suffered cardiac arrest at her Cameron Park home. Thanks to her husband’s quick 911 call and the coordinated response of local firefighters and paramedics, her heart was beating again after about 9 minutes without a pulse. She was then taken to Marshall Hospital for further emergency care.

Yesterday, Marshall brought Janet together with the first responders who helped save her life for a heartfelt reunion at Marshall Cardiac Rehabilitation, where she continues her recovery.

Thank you to Janet and her family for sharing their story, and to the dedicated first responders who make a lifesaving difference every day.
